A splits a split fighters, stop fighting on the grounds you deserve more of your home countries PPV, it's a little annoying. It takes two to make a fight and make any money.
I agree with the last paragraph but you are nuts if you think Gaye deserves more than 50/50, even if its just by a little.

I could feel him not wanting those options on him but he would have been well compensated for his issues.

Oh and Gaye is a lying s@ck of **** - he already signed a much worse contract vs Wlad in June 2009 and almost the same contract against Vitaly, he just punked out. What happened to "I am doing this for Dempsey, I am doing this for Louis...blah blah. To be considered champion I have to beat both Klitschko brothers...blah blah." What a lying coward.

I for one believe that Haye is full of crap. "Slave" contract or no I get the impression that Haye wants no part of the Klitschko's. Even if the Klitschko's are lying and the contracts they offer Haye require Haye to fight the brothers over his next three fights so what? Isn't that what Haye wants? Doesn't he want to beat Wladimir and Viatli? That's two fights right there plus a rematch. Seems fair enough to me and beside who the hell else is Haye going to fight? There's no one in the division that can challenge him except for the Klitshcko's and vice versa.

Additionally fair or no, they seem to get other fighters to sign the contracts without any problems. Sure they're just contenders but Haye's not much more than a contender either. His WBA trinket is meaningless because Wladimir is THE heavyweight champion of the world and Vitali is the number one guy behind him. Haye's squabbling over TV revenue is just an excuse, especially if the Klitschko's are offering a true 50/50 deal. Haye thinks he's something special in the division but he's not. He's beat no one of consequence nor of comparable skill. If and when he becomes heavyweight champion of the world Haye can make his own demands, until then he's just making excuses.

He wants EVERY single term to go his way.

He begged for 50/50, but wants the lions share now

Can you be a bigger joke?

Even though most of us don't think Haye will beat either one of the Klitschko brothers, he is the biggest fight out there and a match between either of the brothers would be much anticipated. I think he has some say in the way the contracts will read. He shouldn't have to fight twice if he chooses not to. No fighter should have to fight against their will. If the Klit brothers are so confident they will beat Haye, then why not drop that part of the contract if its going to seriously effect this fight from happening? Haye's demand on cashing in on all the English revenue from English TV isn't completely unfair but that alone shouldn't stop him from making the fight. Not wanting to act upon an obligation to fight either of the two brothers again is the only thing I think is understandable from Haye's perspective. Both sides are going to have to compromise or this will turn into another Mayweather Pacquiao situation, which is what hurts boxing. I think 50/50 is more than fair for Haye. IMO, he deserves 45% not 50. Even though he is the champ, they have been champions much longer.

Excellent post. Even if the whole 3 re-match clause with both Klitschko brothers was true, that's what he asked for to begin with, in his own words: "I want to fight both brothers. To be considered champion I have to beat both Klitschko brothers..." Besides, those are the biggest fights money wise in the entire division. If he was so sure of himself like he was when he confronted Wlad on an escalator, he would take the deal in a heartbeat - let's see 50/50 with Wlad for at least a $20 million fight, beat Wlad, then make your own terms for a fight with Vitaly, for at least $20 million with the split going Gaye's way, beat him, then fight Wlad again for another $20 million or more, again with the split in your favor. Then retire with the WBC, WBO, IBF, IBO, Ring, WBA belts as the unified, undistputed HW. That would garauntee an IBHOF spot right there. The Klitschkos are basically offering him the chance to accomplish what Lewis accomplished in 10+ years at HW in three fights. And Gaye says the opportunity to do this is a "slave contract"? WTF? Am I am missing something? Gaye is scaaaarrredd. He knows he won't even beat one Klitschko brother one time and the beating he will get will not be worth 50% of $20 million or whatever.

Haye is a coward and a liar.

Yep, this is coming from a guy who said that: His hand was hurt two weeks before a signed fight with Wlad in front of 60,000 fans then changed to a back injury (much harder to detect), then he asked for a postponment of 3 weeks (what kind of "injury" heals in three weeks? If it's that serious to not fight at fight night, it's not going to get better in 3 weeks) then 5 weeks then 8 weeks.

Then he said the Vitaly fight was almost signed to only back out at the last moment. Then Gaye said all he wants is a 50/50, now that's not good enough. Then Gaye said he couldn't respond to Wlad's video because he was "resting" and "spending time with his family", yet he had time for a charity soccer tournament and other events.

Less than a week after both Klitschkos officially chose their opponents in Peter and Briggs, oiled-up Gaye comes out of hiding to talk about how he will post some earth shattering revelations in "a couple of days" and that his "mother told him if he doesn't have anything good to say then don't say anything at all" (I guess his mother told him that posing with cut-off heads was ok). Breaks that deadline again only to come out with ****** recylced crap about "slave contracts".

Finally said Fraudley is a joke and he will never fight him, that he will be laughed at if he does, only to go ahead and try to stuff this fight as some kind of meaningful fight to the gullible Brits.

                      Proven liar... and coward.
