Who ever is buying that Marquez seriously injured his left shoulder is an idiot. Kermit Cintron and Andre Dirrell are both better actors than Marquez LOL... Marquez quit and everybody with half a brain knows it. At the end of the 8th round, Marquez was tired, sluggish and getting a beat down.

I no longer have respect for Marquez. Yuri Foreman fought Cotto with a busted knee, arthur Abraham finished a fight with a broken face and jaw and won by decision. Other fighters have finished fights after fracturing their hands. If the fight would of kept going, it would of been a matter of time till Juamna KO'ed his assss... Marques is a quitter... Plain and simple.

I dont support this **** @ all, he needs to get his head out his ass and forget about a rematch & prove himself by fighting the top dogs - John is OK, Gamboa is good, but eventually he needs to fight someone like Caballero and stop talking about money. My man, you've fought plenty of nobodys who bring no money to any table what so ever. I like Juanma and if he fights Marquez again I wont like him as much. he should fight Gamboa or shut up, why does he want to re-match an old citizen after stopping him? Arum would be happy as well as he is promoting both of them, no promoter to negotiate, Arena gangsta promoter is in the picture though, they co-promote Gamboa, thats the only fight that makes sense and money, Chris John is not a big money generator and will get KO by Juanma in 3rds

Your proof of a guy that doesn't know **** about boxing. First of all, Marquez is no journeyman, the guy was a former world champion hall of fame boxer. At 27 years old, Juanma has defeated three world champions and has a record of 30 wins (27 by way of Knock out) and has had only 4 fights go the full twelve rounds.

As far as popularity is concerened, everyone knows that Puerto Rico is a huge boxer producing island therefore he has most Puerto Ricans follow him including Mexican fans due to all of his fights beating the **** out of them. Every time the kid fights, its never a disappointment. When you have Bob Arum in the ring with the kid, you know u got a good future ahead of you.

Bottom line is that Juanma is going to clean up the 126lb division like he did at 122lbs.... Haterz everywhere....

Juan manuel marquez would murder lopez. If his tiny brother rocked his ass bad on the 4th and dirty ass lopez had to hit him behind the head to recuperate get about 30 seconds or more to get air.

To the people saying juanma proved he can tAke a punch umm no he cant a smaller and older guy rocked his ass hes already been dropped this reminds me of cotto nobody wanted to believe he had a weak chin. Now is it weird that we see a trend of pr fighters fefering to dirty tactics when they get hurt?? We saw trinidad low blow vargas 3 times when he was hurt cotto did same **** against judah and lopez against marquez wonder what would of happened if they didnt. Trinidad and cotto were badly hurt though when they did it lopez was dazed and was receiving punches too
