    Rescore Judah-Mathysse!

I rescored the fight giving any questionable rounds to Judah. this is the result:

    Round 1- Judah 10-9
    Round 2- Matthyse 19-19
Round 3- Matthyse 29-28 (Judah didn't land a single blow this round)
Round 4-Judah (scored it even) 38-38
    Round 5-Judah 47-48
    Round 6-Matthysse 57-57
    Round 7-Matthysse 67-66
    Round 8-Judah 76-76
    Round9-Mathysse 86-85
    Round 10-Mathysse 1kd for Mat. 96-93
    Round 11-Matthysse 106-102
    Round 12- Matthyse 116-111

Note: Combubox was wrong, the punches it said Judah landed were not evenremotely landed, while Matthyse was VERY effective to the body.

Note: I only gave 2 rounds to Judah upon live viewing. This isn't even my real scorecard upon second viewing, I'd have it wider for Matthysse. You couldn't even make a case for the judges being influenced by the crowd, as they were booing Judah.

i was at the fight and felt lucas won. i just re watched it online, and still feel lucas won 114-113.... after the fight when lucas walked out, i told him he def won that fight, the man speaks no english, but knew what i meant and shook my hand.... cant wait to see him in the ring again as now he has even more to prove.

I thought Matthyesse won, but he should have KO'd Judah. Or at least dropped him again. He started slow and was fighting in New Jersey, so he needed to step on the gas more.

It was a close fight. But i think Judah got the nod based on his reputation. I think when fights are close like that, 90% of the time the more popular fighter will get the nod.

If you scored Round 4 even (10-10), shouldn't it say:

                  Round 4-Even, Matthysse ahead 39-38

                  ?

And that in turn would make your final score 117-111 for Matthysse.

                  amirite?

Team Judah was trying to revamp Judah and try something different. From what I got to hear, the corner did not do a great job telling Judah what to do and Judah did a poor execution of whatever game plan they had because it just didn't work!

It appeared that they (Judah) were looking to counter Lucas all night but Lucas fought differently than what Judah's team expected. Once Lucas came in for the "real" attack, Judah crumbled. Judah was so out of it last night and I don't mean just the last part of the fight where it was obvious that he was just hanging in. Judah's offense was non-existent.

As for his opponent Lucas, he probably must be hitting himself on the head for waiting so long to get into this fight offensively. He knew that he was fighting in unfriendly territory so he knew that to pull a win, it would have to be obvious. The knock down was obvious so he got the 2 points and made it closer. The last 1/4 of the fight was obvious .... but the rest of the fight was close. So the judges gave most of those close rounds to Judah.

It was a close fight that could have gone either way. Neither fighter wanted this fight until the last few rounds. At that point, one guy wanted it, the other was just trying to survive.
