Ward better stay on his bicycle and not try and test Glen to see if he can hurt him, deter him from coming in, or out work him on the inside.

man if ward goes on to beat bika and then johnson, the guy is a certified superstar. bute needs to do something to keep up. i suggest he move up at least until the tourney is over.

No he doesn't. It's simple. If Abraham beats Froch by decision, than the semifinals will be Ward-Froch and Abraham-Johnson.

Johnson has to knock Ward out and I think Ward has enough of a chin to take Glen's punches unfortunately. No way Johnson can get a decision in Oakland. I like Johnson but I feel like I gotta use my head rather than my heart and be realistic.

Ward isnt a dynamic offensive fighter, he is very rugged and physical which gives Johnson a shot. Smart money is on Ward, but if I I can get odds Im putting money on Johnson. Its impossible to dislike a guy like Glen.

If Andre Ward beats Bika, Glen Johnson, and then Abraham or Froch he will have one of the best resumes in the sport bar none.

Add a win over Lucian Bute and we are talking #1 PFP status.

                very poor plan by showtime

maybe showtime wants to make the semis look fair and going according to plan, but unless Froch-AA is a fight of the year candidate, it will hurt the business to stage a rematch in the semis

and even with a rematch, how fair would it be to see them win one fight each, but only the one winning the rematch going into the finals ? bullcrap

Glen vs AA-Foch winner or loser is a dynamite fight, and Ward vs Froch-AA winner or loser is still an interesting fight, that's the more logical plan of match-ups

Yeah Johnson isn't winning a decision. To make matters worse....Johnson has no pull so this fight will definately to place in Oakland.

                    Unfair for Johnson?

                    LMAO.

He made it to the Super-6 semi's by beating Green.

He got a free pass around Taylor/Kessler/Dirrell, and walked straight into the money fights.

Don't get me wrong..... I am a Johnson fan, and this is great for him, and for boxing..... but it is hardly unfair on Glenn.
