Yeah, obviously this thread is to draw parallels to Mayweather.
Both are ****y, both believe that they are the best. It's called self-confidence, and in such a mental sport as boxing, it's a commodity that is easily misunderstood.
Look, Floyd's persona rubs me the wrong way, but I can't deny that the guy truly believes in himself.
Pacquiao is not going to say, at this stage, that anyone is superior to him. And why should he? He's proven his position in his mind, and since he's the only one going in the ring, not his fans, not his promoter, not his trainer, then that's all that matters.
The same goes for Floyd.Comment

The klitschkos did quite a bit for the sport even tho most anti europeans here will disagree with me.There is plenty of boxers who are on the same level as him if not higher. But unfortunately it seems from what I've read so far on here most posters don't follow boxing they follow a specific fighter. And yes him calling himself the greatest is just silly.Sugar ray robinson did more in a year when he went to europe than floyd and pac in their whole boxing career.+++then who is?....who among the present crop of boxers of today who has a better achievement than pacquiao? remember that there are many undefeated boxer today but only one 7 division champ..by the way pac never said that he is scared of needle its the effect of having his blood taken closer to the fight that affects his psyche.Comment

I can't believe so many people are arguing over a statement Pac was joking around with, when he didn't say ANYTHING CLOSE to what the thread says.Comment
