Haven't heard much about him since his big win, and he has no fight scheduled.

He wants to come back to the US and fight on HBO, but their sports director Ross Greenburg doesn't like him. Greenburg said he MAY have him on HBO later in mid 2011.

Pirog needs to STAY ACTIVE, forget about HBO, and have his next fight in Russia.

Ishe Smith said on his Facebook awhile ago that Pirog's team had contacted him for a fight. Ishe might fight him if a fight with Kirkland doesn't happen.

If Greenburg doesn't like him, he's a ****** fucking cunt.

The Smith fight, while not adding much in the long run, would still be a name and a stay busy fight. I think he could get him out of there, too. However, Smith CAN be a spiler and if he struggles with the guy that was beaten by the guy Pirog has his biggest win against, he could have to do some damage control.
