As it stands, I think he falls just short. But if he beat Andre Ward in the finals he definitely deserves strong consideration at the very least despite all the close losses on his record. For everybody's info, though I don't think Johnson will win another fight in this tournament because the judges won't let him. I think he can give Froch, Abraham, and Ward tough fights and appear to do enough to get the decision against them. But the judges will already have their scores filled out for those guys.

thats what Im thinking, too. He gave the rising youngstars real tough fights and maybe beat some of them in the opinions of the fans and all that in the later stage of his career at his age. just amazing
