Did I mention the tall muscular Vitali fights most of his opponents in court?

Maybe we just have different ideas about "what good boxing skills are." I will however say you dont likely become an olympic medalist having poor boxing skills.

VK always get back straight from punches, If anyone clock that sucker with strong left hook he might get beat so bad and that fool always holds and lower his left hand anyways.

Boxers like Tyson, Lacy always has good full body leverage before they throw their punches but that shiet VK use only his arms. It's really ackward.

His style is effective for him both as a professional and as an amateure and that is what counts. What is effective for the individual boxer. It is not one size fits all in boxing.

Vitali was disqualified from the olympics for steroid use.
