I'm Mexican and give nothing but props to Lopez, but it's ignorant to not look at the fact Marquez was outgunned by age and size.....if you have followed Marquez (and not just the last few years against Izzy like most people on here) you would see how much he's slipping....no excuse, a very solid win for Lopez, but it's still a fact he's not in his prime or optimal weight

Maybe I should be more clear. This has NOTHING to do with whether a chicano/pocho is a Mexican or not.

The thing is a lot mexicans were on here celebrating the win over Calderon and I said that Calderon was slipping (he's about the same age as Marquez) but now that a younger stronger puertorican beat a smaller older mexican they make excuses for Marquez. The fact is Marquez QUIT against Lopez just like Calderon against Segura no shame on that fact.
