Did Tony Weeks save Lopez from being ktfo?

I think maybe Arum paid him a little extra to make sure he got Lopez out of trouble. Similar to Ricky Hatton's Manchester ref's always pulling his ass out of the fire by giving him extra time to tie his shoelaces.


I've never liked him as a ref ever since he stopped Castillo/Corrales and after last night I think he's a paid off ref.

the extra time sure was good for Juanma but If Rafa was hurt like he said he was he may not had enough in him to finish him.I dont think he was nowhere near as hurt as people think he was,and yes he was hurt im not even a big Juanma fan but i gained a lot of respect for him last night

Its sad that a young guy in his prime would need the ref's help against an old smaller shopworn fighter but I guess whatever it takes to save Arum's little cash cow has to be done.

PRican's are such dishonorable people for defending this or pretending it had no significance.

I can't actually remember what the delay was about in the 4th, I just remember Lopez getting a bunch of time to clear his head and being annoyed by it. I'm about to watch the video again when the download finishes.
