Nice try at twisting logic but no it's not the same thing at all. Manny is giving up the weight advantage to Margarito by choice. Marquez was forced to take the weight disadvantage by Mayweather at the last minute.

As long as pac doesn't go beyond 150 or below 148, its all good. Besides, its still over a week before the fight. Most likely pac would be 150 at the weigh in.

The important thing is both fighters come within the agreed weight limits.

He's already said, he's not gonna make it. H'es gonna maintain 147/148. But Marg is at 154 now, should he still have to come down? What if Marg chooses to stop at 152?

You are the one trying to twist logic little wisel. Weight isn't always an advantage. A 150 pound sluggish Pacquiao would actually have bigger chances to lose the fight than the 148 pound faster version.

yes, they should give pac hell for not gaining those 2 pounds too. he is obligated to weigh at 150 after all...
