I know that but it is strange, i cant picture Jauregui beating Castillo, by k.o, decision,or even by cuts, I know Jauregui is O.K, but Jauregui beating a fighter like Lavender Johnson for a title(who again holds a title) is one thing But beating Castillo is the mark of a great fighter, Jauregui isnt a great fighter. -
Not realy because some Puerto Ricans look black but they are not considered black. Example.( Tito Trinidad)Originally posted by mnash_98You might be mixed, but if you look black. Look Asian. Thats what you are. Kostya's looks Asian for sure.Comment

He calls himself Latino which says nothing about his race. It just says he was born in a Latin American country.
Tito is black and didnt refute Hopkins when he called him black.

its not really a meltin pot mate...........it is the place that all these boxers call HOME.....like you and I do....Originally posted by NABOK - Tszyu's Grandfather is Korean.
KT's father is 1/2 Korean, 1/2 Russian, and his mother is full Russian.
This makes Kostya 3/4 Russian, 1/4 Korean.
Tszyu is a naturalised Australian - his kids were all born here so they are 'Australian'.
Let's not get into the whole "Is Russia in Europe or Asia?" again?!!!
Now back on the topic... If you consider Tszyu is a naturalised Australian, he's my favourite fighter. If you want to say he's Russian, my favourite Aussie fighter is Danny Green.
Consider some of the best Australian fighters at the moment...
Tszyu (Russian/Korean descent)
Vic Darchinian (Armenian)
Robbie Peden - Part Aboriginal
Mundine - Part Aboriginal
Hussein brothers - Lebonese descent
Paul Briggs - born in New Zealand
What a melting pot we have!
everybody has their background, history, etc.......but they are all proud to call Australia home.........
if we were to get technical, then none of would be australians (except for the aborigines).....
so all of the boxers mentioned are true blue aussies, and proud champions.Comment

True he is Black but he is an African-Puerto Rican so Puerto Ricans can still claim him and African Americans Can't, because his ancestors didn't come to North America They came to the Carribean...Originally posted by mnash_98He calls himself Latino which says nothing about his race.
