HAHAHAHA, Mathysse is like a ****tier version of Maidana. That is far from a compliment.

mathysse is just awful. didnt change my mind in that respect tonight.

but judah was even worse. No activity, just stood there and took shots. Whenever he decided to actually throw punches he nailed Mathysse.

I like Mathysse as a person, but if he fights any of the top 140 pounds he doesnt stand a chance. He might survive against Alexander, but the others would stop him easily.

sorry dude, i just really dont see anything besides some heavy hands in Mathysse.

the two good punchers in this division(ortiz and maidana) are chinny, lucas has an outside chance...(not to mention he punches tighter and has better skills than maidana....maidana would probably win because he is a good bit bigger and fouls all night)


khan would most likely beat him and a good chance to stop him...but.....breidis prescott....need i say more



and again, Mathysse isn't nearly as bad as you make him out to be.....i mean, the fact that your lock of the century needed a gift to win pretty much proves that....

my lock of the century needing a little help has more to do with Judah fighting terribly, not showing maturity as promised (tlkin to RJJ in round 6 of a close fight?! u kidding?), and Judah mayb showing some wear and tear.

Mathysse just has such bad technique. He is like Edwin Valero. Just a terrible fighter that overcomes all his defiencies with very very heavy hands and a very very solid chin and a very very wreckless mentality.

Both guys would have been SMASHED by the elite level of talent.

I think Bardley stops him. He doesnt punch hard but he'd throw about 1200 punches and about 1199 of them would land flush.

Khan would easily stop him, agreed.

Maidana and him would be entertaining but one sided. Maidana cracks him out mid rounds.

Alexander... jury is still out on him. He looks ridiculously talented in one fight, and in the next fight he is life and death with a pretty straight forward pressure fighter type (alhtough Kotelnik is a pretty damn solid fighter). Even so, he has more then enought to beat up a guy like Mathysse

My opinion, but i just dont see Mathysse going anywhere. I was wrong about his power, he has some heavy hands, but his skills are severly lacking
