    Rafa/Lopez analysis

At first , marquez seemed unsteady , but he was holding his ground. He was landing , not with the same power. But he had his moments. But I think it was because Lopez got confident after landing a few shots that mvoed marquez. Not because he was hurt , but because he wasnt standing right.. Then when Lopez got rocked , we saw him coming in with his head covered , throwing a lot of uppercuts , and body shots came in those rounds too. Which they were no where to be seen in the first rounds. But yeah , Lopez was stronger , faster. And more accurate.

But really , Gamboa?? He barely could handle salido , you think he would have handled those flush shots Lopez took from marquez. I dont know?? I dont think so.

Gamboa is fast , but like Lopez , he gets reckless. But Lopez can actually regain his legs quick , and doesnt fall and hold like a ***** when he is hurt.

IMO , a few things could be drawn from that bout.

And I do think Rafa was injured. For the record.

He says he wants a rematch , he wont get it , and if he does , he wont win.

He has a hell of a chin , which Gamboa doesnt. I think he took over 200 power punches. FROM LOPEZ!! , Gamboa wont take 50.

So all that , Gamboa decimates Juanma , this and that , needs to stop. Look what a slower salido did.

And dont bring Mtagwa ok. Mtagwa only had 2 CLOSE rounds. And didnt knock him down.

But yeah , was it just me or did Lopez show he can adjust. After getting confident and getting rocked , he said , "wait , I need to come in smart , Im getting countered when Im open"

And he did , he came in with his hands up and he started putting a hurt on Marquez , thats why I think not even a prime marquez would have won.

Lopez is just too fast , accurate , and strong.

I dont know if it was his corner , but they adjusted. And it took him about 3 rounds , to stop him. Because I actually think , it could have gone either way , if Lopez didnt realize he needed to cover up.

But great fight while it lasted.

All that , ricans are quitters , and will Juanma keep the tradition or whatever , came back to bite those messi****s in the ass.

I just feel Lopez was overwhelming Marquez in the end, it was getting all to much. Marquez had a decent level of success in the early rounds in my opinion, he was landing pretty often, Lopez being able to take the shots well. Lopez was practically walking Marquez down in the end.

Lopez was dismantling Marquez at the end.

I knew that Marquez would not last a couple more rounds if he kept taking a beating like that.

Yes he did , I knew it would happen.

Juanma is hittable and Marquez showed it. (not that hes the first)

But what impressed me about Juanma was that he adjusted. Its the first time I see that.

He went out swinging , but he actually tried to do it smart.

I dont know if you understand what Im saying , but yeah , He didnt just throw from the outside wild. He got close , and waited , and threw bombs. And regrouped , covered up and repeated it.

Thats how he has to fight from now on. It reminded me of how Margarito got to Cotto. With those upper cut and ****.
