Marquez was bending heavily all the time and pushing his head against Lopez's stomach trying not to get hit. He was really tired and was being hammered pretty good. He was still dangerous though. He landed very hard shots on Juanma's face. But punishment was too much. Would be game over in next round anyway.

IF you know your boxing you know the difference between being hurt and getting buzzed. Marquez landed many flush shots and didnt even wobble him, only once he was buzzed. If you remember Morales-Barrera 1 u will see that both guys lasted the full distance when each had the other guy hurt. It was a great fight and all boxing fans need to pay respect to Lopez. I gave Segura props for beating Calderon, i didnt say calderon was old or too small, i said Segura fought a smart fight by going for the body early on to slow Calderon down, just give credit where credit is due.

Was kinda pissed how the ref let Lopez take that break when he was in a whole world of trouble. Marquez had Lopez really rocked that one time, I thought he may have been able to finish him at that point, it was his only chance he was going to win the fight.
