Lopez is an exciting fighter, love watching him get into the ring. I've picked him in every fight, including the Ponce De Leon bout. Never been a hater of his, never will be.
But if this fight was fought in or near their COMPLETE primes (Marquez is still in his prime, relatively speaking, definitely prime enough to give Lopez a big win, not discrediting him in anyway,) at 122 or so.. I think Marquez takes it.
His bombs at the weight, his speed and his counter-punching could be too much for the gutsy Puerto Rican. Lopez gets too excited at times, squares up, has the ability to get countered on the side that Marquez lands best on... Just my take.
