So, who put a gun to his head and make him go up to fight the younger fighter? I hate lame excuses, he lost by quitting on his stool, period. He was looking really good until the last couple of rounds and proved he had power by rocking Juanma a few times. What I didn't like is him saying his shoulder was hurt before the fight taking credit away from Juanma. If he didn't quit, Juanma was gonna KO him eventually. Even the ref thought so, didn't you hear what he said in Rafa's corner right before he quit?

he took this fight because he wanted to,a lot of fighters think they can still compete when it's so obvious they cant anymore,and i always said he wouldn't be able to compete anymore...i don't believe the shoulder injury either,so he lost,so what,i expected that,what i don't understand and i find it funny is that people look at this like it was an awesome victory for juanma when someone like rafa who is clearly past his prime gave him trouble,thats my point, i don't see this as a great victory for juanma,rafa to me is just a steppingstone...until he faces someone his own size(weight) and young like him i'll say good win for him,to me this is actually a victory that was expected...

Lopez needs to stop being a bitch and fight Caballero. It's as simple as that. Gamboa has looked like shit against bums like he did in his last fight and Caballero dominated a capable opponent in his last fight. Lopez's career path is so suspect.
