                ROUND 1:
Both men looking to be in great shape for the fight. Ripped and neither man dry. The fight starts in the center of the ring. Marquez trying to jab. Lopez looking to counter and find his angles. Marquez misses a shot and Lopez slips one in. Lopez on his toes. Feeling out going on in the first round. Lopez still looking to counter Marquez' jab, but misses with the left right hand. Marquez lands a quick left hook and moves away. Jab for Marquez finds the mark, partially. Lopez landing a jab and moves away from the Marquez rush. Lopez trying to stick the jab in there. About 20 seconds left in the round. Marquez goes for a combination and lands a little left, nothing major. A quick exchange as the round ends and both men trade decent shots. Very close round.

10-9, Rafael Marquez. (Either man could get it.)

                  ROUND 2:
Marquez coming out jabbing, Lopez coming forward a bit now. Still trying to counter. Lopez now trying to jab his way in, neither man going crazy. Lopez brushing his man to the body. A right hook for Lopez lands to the back of the head. The referee warns both men about rough-housing, telling Lopez not to hit to the back of the head. Lopez still stepping to his man. Lopez lands a right hook and Marquez lands the straight right. Lopez landing with rights, one right to the jaw as he gets Marquez on the ropes for the moment. Lopez seems to have the harder shots so far. Lopez still trying to land the right hook, most grazing shots. Lopez jabbing in, then going for a left hook that misses. A straight right for Marquez lands on the top of the head.

                  19-19. Even fight.

                    ROUND 3:
Lopez coming out trying to jab his way in. Marquez doing some jabbing of his own. Marquez lunges in and gets caught with a clipping right hook that lands fairly well. A solid left hook for Marquez gets in on an inside exchange. Big right misss for Lopez and a counter for Marquez finds a home. Marquez bobbing and weaving well this round. The referee warns both for illegal shots. Marquez stumbles back after a hard left-handed shot, but Lopez rushes in and gets hit with a hard shot for his trouble. Both men seem put together. A hard shot in the center of the ring lands for Lopez. Marquez goes back to the jab and gets countered when he comes in, a conter right hook. Both men paw with the jab to end the round.
