Sure, that would be his best option, and he could try to do better than Cotto (he KO'd him 7th or 8th). Nothing like having more than one belt...and if Mayweather moves up, whos gonna take the vacant?

well ********* wbc rankings has branco, witter and gatti 2nd 3rd and 4th respectivly but if cotto is fighting branco then maybe a fight off between witter and gatti???ideal situation would have to be cotto facing maussa then gatti beating witter in the fight off then hatton facing gatti (how good would that be!!!)then hatton-cotto........WOW!probably wont happen though coz talks of gatti moving up to 147 and ricky probably face maussa or just not fight til next year.....still if he does at least he gets a belt.........we can still dream though!!!

Why would Gatti move up in weight if Mayweather moves up and becomes the undisputed champion? Looking at the rankings both Juan Urango and Mighty Mike have moved up some so they could become opponents soon too.

i cnt remember where i read it but i think he wants to move because hes finding it hard to make weight, dont quote me tho coz i cnt remember exactly why just remember that he wants to move up. if that happens i think ricky will face witter in england, that would be huge and would finally shut him up.....all this obviously depends on mayweather if he does definitly move up.....personally i hope ricky faces maussa next due to the fact hes the only guy worth fighting at the moment due to everyone else busy wih other fights.

He's trying to sort his next promoter first as he is out of contract and Warren is by no means confirmed as his next fight promoter as he has a number of other offers-confirmed by his dad on the official website...
