Too much speed for Margarito. Just an all around bad matchup for him. Margarito is not going to get his punches off like he wants to because Manny is not going to allow him to plant and throw.

Pac has more speed and power than mosley and look what mosley did to margarito. I wish the fight was today but I can wait 1 more week!

with the title comment, makes one wonder if they have been fronting on the " distraction " tip and pacquiao actually maybe PEAK in training this early???? i don't know but this popped into my head when i read this............. just sayin.

margo was beat already. shane put him away. but now were supposed to believe this is a huge victory for pac because margo had a year off to rest and recooperate. in most cases thats called a long lay-off of inactivity. meanwhile with the champs distractions and is sub-par training camp to further add doubt. STILL, no one can take away the heart of a fighter, and the focus. Margo is a good fighter, with or without plaster, and atleast he is the first real pressure fighter with a high workrate. If he is truly in top form and still has his granite chin, it could be an interesting fight. most shots that have hit Pac come from uppercuts on the inside, and looping hooks from the outside (especially counter hooks). with Margo's long arms, he could have some success if he can put Pac against the ropes or into the corner the same way he pressured Cotto (who planned to outbox and counter him the whole fight). Margs will close the gap, use the jab to get in even closer, and **** away on the little guy. Pac may be thinking about how Shane beat Margo to the punch and never let him settle. Roach im sure is all over that gameplan. hope to see a good fight.

idk, margarito has nothing to lose, he's desperate and in great condition. Plus he fights his heart out in every fight and has a great chin. I think pacquiao has his handsfull on fightnight and we have to see how well he can absorb a punch from a 160lb margarito. And if his distraction rumors are true which i think are not, he could get beat up...,

Pac wont do anything the old, shot, dead, tired, sleepy, runny nosed, hurt tooth, never should have been born or boxed (as the Floyd haters say) Mosley didn't already do to Margarito..... face it, Pacs fighting another destroyed fighter... but we already knew that as does Roach.

The question still remains as to why we fans hold such low standards for Pac compared to Mayweather?

shane ruined margacheato two years ago, in fact i thought he killed him in the ring until this fight announcement, or wait, was i just hoping he did.

either way, im a pac fan because he is exciting, but not buying this ppv.
With the rebate, it's $30-$35 bucks. It's not that bad. I'm ordering it and I always use the rebate for all the fights Tecate decides to pay me for. Buy a case, get drunk, get a check a few weeks later. It's like your robbing them!

Just saying, if your on the fence, this may help push you over.

Come fight time Margarito will have had just 2 fights since Jan 2009. One in which he got knocked out in/destroyed and the other were he beat a tough but extremly medicore and fairly unskilled fighter over 10.

Add to the fact that Margarito has got to be make 150lb, and his style is made for Manny. Margarito has never done well with southpaws. And he's fighting the best southpaw of the decade here.

He's extremly flat footed, slow, and has a leaky defence, and his chin has also been dented now.

Manny's hand speed, footwork, skills, & power should be way to much for Margarito to handle. Manny all day........

pac's regaining his speed spells disaster for marga-resto...we know marga-resto is a pressure fighter but pac's combos will get planted on marga-resto's face even before he can throw his punches...

the result would be the opposite... it would be pacquiao presurring marga-resto...

we will be watching another pacman-clottey fight...
most likely marga-resto will be hitting air all night while pacman will make cheato's face like a punching ball.
