Comments Thread For: Marquez-Lopez, Some Super Six: Pre-Fight Report Card

I agree with both predictions. People are so caught up on Lopez/Matagwa and the concepcion knockdown that they seem to forget that Lopez recovered and won both fights. Marquez may stun him here and there but Lopez is to young and powerfull for Marquez at this stage. Lopez by midround stoppage.

Green is a joke and Johnson is a warrior, nothing more to say on that one.

Green should realize the position he is in and throw that left hook hard and often. Letting Glenn get his way early and it will be a repeat of the effort he showed against Ward. we will not be interested in more excuses when it's over.

Juanma wins because i see this fight breaking out sometime early. 4th round onwards. Rafa might go for it early and test the kid, and i think Juanma will overcome and win that battle. i can't wait.

How can Rafa and Lopez be considered equal in intangibles?

This fight is not on HBO. It's on Showtime. I have marquez winning around the 10th or 11th round

So pumped for both of these fights. Marquez v Lopez may be fight of the year while it lasts. As much as I want Marquez to get that last great win, I agree with you. And I cant wait to see the Road Warrior show the kids how its done yet again. I think he wins a wide UD, but Id love for him to get the stoppage.

Lopez should win this fight. He has most of the advantages on his side, and this stage has been set up for him to win and look good doing it. But I have a feeling Marquez may pull the upset off here.

I find Johnson/Green hard to predict. As I don't know how the weight cuts went for both. Glen could outwork him over 12, but he also may have took to much weight of his 41 year old body which may affect him badly, and Green could take a inside the distance win, but then again the same could be said for Green and his weight cut.

Not a fight I'd like to bet on, but I'd edge towards Green, although am a huge Road Warrior fan.
