just look at his damn av.
So what that is tame by comparison of what goes down here on a regular basis.

Call him out on that when he is doing it, I don't see it in this thread so why bring it up.

I think the fight will do well but still I just don't see the mass appeal to this fight. Maybe it gets to a million but I don't think that is a foregone conclusion and I certainly don't know how much legs it has to get much beyond that.

Could be wrong though hopefully they do good and reach whatever goals they set for themselves (internally not baseless public promotion numbers)..

You know what might be a wild card that makes the card a big seller? The mainstream exposure Pac has been getting the last few weeks. He was on TMZ when they caught him getting off the plane in LA and reported it was the largest crowd they had ever seen gathered for a celebrity. Manny's duet on Kimmel was seen by 1.5-1.7 mil people, has been buzzing all week (the video on Kimmel's youtube has close to 700K views after only 3-4 days). Sunday he'll be introduced to a much wider and more diverse public group when he's profiled on 60 minutes (which routinely does 10 mil+ viewers).

If a small fraction of the millions of people that the exposure has attracted end up buying the PPV, it could do pretty big numbers. Plus there's always the regular boxing base and the #s 24/7 attracts.

My personal guess is 1-1.2 mil, but Arum's prediction wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Duh, The Mexicans will buy it to support a cheater. Even though that Cheater is going to take an ass whooping by a midget Pinoy. The Mexicans don't care that Margaresto is a disgraceful piece of ****. They trust Margaresto's lies over someone as peaceful as ****m Richardson.

I do know who he is but really a ton of people do ****** **** to really aggrivate other posters around here. Why bother letting such a person think they bother you, why give them what they are looking for.

lmao. i just can't stop laughing whenever i see that gino ros guy. i understand disliking a certain group of posters, but disliking them so much that you actually go through the effort of pretending to be gay just to piss em off? it's like some dude getting into an argument with some guys at a bar but instead of having a brawl with them he decides to try and give a random ******* to one of them to make them feel disgusted.

IT JUST DOESN"T MAKE ANY SENSE...

Arum PPV sales projection is attainable. The Pac/Cotto fight made 1.3M in spite of the tiny Puerto Rican Market. Pac is very much popular and a big draw in the US market. Margarito might not be popular but the huge Mexican market wanting to see how a compatriot fare against Pac could further boost PPV sales. Plus factor of course is HBO projecting the fight as competitive due to Pac’s distractions.

I won’t be surprised if PPV sales eclipsed that of Pac/Cotto… However, I am a bit conservative with my prediction of 1M, or thereabouts. A lot of boxing fans see these as a rout and far from being competitive.
