At the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City, Philippines, Brian Viloria (28-2, 16 KOs) stopped Liempetch Sor Veerapol (19-8-1, 12 KOs) in the seventh round. Viloria is in line to face WBO flyweight champion Julio Cesar “Pingo” Miranda, and that fight may take place in February or March of next year. The Thai fighter was dropped in the fifth round after a series of body shots and then went down two more times in the seventh before the contest was over.
