    Showtime

So aside from the sub par main event did anyone else notice how horrible of a job showtime does on there events.

The whole event was a half assed production. The way they put together there clips and interviews from previous fights with the poor choice of music in an attempt to get you excited for the match was downright pathetic imo.

Also aside from Foreman who I though was adequate and the girl who sang the anthem(what was her name) who I thought was hot , most anyone else who spoke didn't do such a great job.

This was a DKP, distributed through Showtime.

This was not a Showtime PPV like the Tyson-McBride fight was or Corrales-Castillo would be.

This was comparable to the Golden Boy PPV that HBO distributed with Barrera-Fana

Yes I agree. They were also sucking Hasbeens nuts pretty hard and didn't even interview Barret after the fight even though he was standing right there!

Thats the worst when the real guys dont do it. The PPV sucks even worse then. That Adios JCC fight was done by the worst crew Ive ever heard. I conisdered killing myself 3 times during that broadcast.

So what is that a Don King production?Well whoever pocketed my $40 really dropped the ball tonite.

Notice how Don King never could wipe that million dollar smile off his face

I remember not being too impressed with the tyson mcbride production as well. I found myself enjoying the HBO special that same night a hell of alot better

Yeah; they had the Showtime PPV banner but no Albert, Charles, Bernstein, Farhood, etc. commentating; no Showtime graphics - the Don King symbol was on everything.

The Adios fight was a Top Rank event, and so was going to be the Million Dollar Lady PPV.

These announcers get a lot of gigs, most notably on Fox Sports...

I'm actually beginning to like Showtime more than HBO. There's a thread Showtime>HBO where I go into more detail, as do a number of posters describing their preferences...

I like what they have been showing boxing wise but I have to say their broadcasts are lacking intelligence and flair.

If Jones Jr. and Merchant equal intelligence and flair, I'd rather watch dumb and dull...lol
