    It is the reason.

Obviously, Manny will fight Cotto next.

I have been saying that for 4 months.

It was clearly obvious to me that Manny would fight Margarito, then Cotto.

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. need to get in the ring together, this is the biggest fight that can possibly be made, period. I think that it will be the most memorable and important fight in boxing since the nineties. If the winner has anything left, he should fight the winner of Williams/Martinez. Though the likelihood of that happening is rather slim, a man can dream, right?

Well if they really want Floyd like they say and its Mannys last fight , then they better put some verbal on Floyd ass , they better say we accept full testing and waiting for Floyd to sign , I dont want to hear I fight who my team puts in front of me , its gone too far either Freddie or Pac better turn up the heat on Floyd in front of a world audience , if not I will be very dissapointed if they say nothing to put pressure on getting the fight done .

I pretty much agree with what both you guys said.

Wouldn't that be great, it's what we all want.

i doubt he goes you got people like T.I who gets busted with machine gun with priors and only gets a year floyd has no priors at all and lets face it money talks in america that crime might be the push we need for the fight because floyd will pay a big chunk

That sucks because what you said is probably true. If Manny fights Miguel again it will no different than the first time that they met. In other words, it will be pointless.

why do roach continue to say this could be pacs last fight if no floyd next year...when pac himself has said he will fight a few more times regardless if floyd is the opponant or not.

even if theres no challenge, pac can still defend a belt and continue to make easy money without floyd...i think pac will retire after he loses his next fight...or if he loses, he will fight a rematch, win or lose after that, then he will retire...because too much is already going on in his life and he already have enough money to last his and his kids lifetime.

well, i think if no floyd, i dont blame an inhouse match between pac/cotto 2. as it stands now, arum/top rank have enough fighters to do inhouse matches and keep all of the money within.

besides, we cant blame arum/top rank if a third negotiations with floyd falls thru...or if floyd is sent to jail.

The business aspect will take care of itself. I don't see this fight falling apart over money. It never did so why even worry about that? There's enough money for everybody and I could care less what they get. I'd like to see Floyd agree to an even purse but I know that if the Margarito fight doesn't do even-split numbers then he's going to want more money. Will I support that? No. Will I understand? Sure. Manny Pacquiao would do the exact same and has done so. That's just the way it goes.
