Yes, but Hasim walked into a big one early and didn't need to be in a position to get hit like that in Round 12. He will need a better exectuted plan against Vitali; there's lesser room for error, because Vitali can keep Rock farther away because of his reach. Hasim may have less opportunity to get in and try to bother the big guy...

His most notable anything is a win against Lewis...That is it.
Ring rust and outside distractions could be a factor in the next fight. I would give Rahman a shot, but make him the underdog nonetheless...

I still think Vitali gets too much credit, but I don't know if 2005 Rahman is the man for the job of de-throning the WBC titleholder...

Possibly so but I mean looking at Rahman's career is looking at a should've been who never was and it completely shines through. I mean he got beat up by Ruiz and went on a bum fight to get his confidence back and get in shape. He struggled with a nobody and came back against Kali Meehan who to me is still a nobody and Rahman gets praised as the savior but mind has still done nothing. He has had what 6 fights since the Ruiz fight? He fought Barrett tonight and looked crappy.

Rahman will always look good on that B+ level but when he steps it up to an A level he will always put on a B level performance.

Rahman has no shot and I am pretty sure most of us now know it too! He looked like trash and Barret looked way too reluctant. Neither one deserves any title or title shot! They should have to rematch till someone wins convincingly!

There are some green heavyweights some of us still have hope for; there are some very flawed titleholders and contenders - and there are some has-beens trying to hold on and make some noise.

Tonight showed the the last two of those sections of the current heavyweight division.

I don't know what was more telling - the lackluster interim title fight, or the fact tha Oliver McCall's win over Saleta supposedly put him "back in the mix"...
