Should Luis Resto apply for a boxing license with the texas boxing commission?

Margaresto can do it, why not Luis Resto? Does Luis Resto not have the money back up of Jerry Jones paying off the texas boxing commission?

Yes, if only because it will highlight how margacheato should NOT have been issued a license.

As a trainer you mean right?

Then it doesn't hurt to try. He should apply one in every state as a trainer. I think he failed in NY though didn't he? Don't remember.

However, Panama Lewis should NOT get anything. Just like Capetillo should never geta license to train either.

Luis Resto may be old now but he still has a dream of being a great boxer one day, didn't you see the documentary on him? He still trains, jogs and boxes still.

He doesn't want to be a fighter anymore. He wants to train though.

            So maybe as a trainer.

If Resto could was still of a decent fighting age I would yes why not give it a shot. If Resto wants to be a trainer then yes he should apply for a license in every state.

Even though both situations were wrong there is a difference. Margarito tried to cheat and Resto actually did cheat.

How do you know Margaresto hasn't gotten away with it before then? Why wouldn't Margaresto try cheating against a prime fighter? Shouldn't all his credibility be thrown out the window for trying to cheat against Mosley?

At the end of the day we don't know. Only him and his team at the time know.

You don't know if he did it before and I don't know if he didn't.

There is probable cause on why people would think he did it before.

And, there is also probable cause on why it was the first time against Mosley.

                  We do not know.

What we do know is that Marg got busted before the fight while Resto after the fight. So there is a difference.

If Marg have ever used loaded glove in a fight is just assumptions and opinions.

While with Resto is a FACT that he used it in a fight.

Biased aside can you see the difference between fact and assumptions/opinions?

I'm with you,IMO Margarito would have cheated against Mosley, had he not been caught! Now I'm not going to say that he cheated before, but I will say that if it was me,I'd quicker cheat against a young, prime Miguel Cotto than against an older fighter that I was favored to beat, just sayin!!
