Regardless of who you pick to win, it's hard to deny this is a very close fight. Considering Marquez is +250, he's definitely the way to go. This is one fight where I really don't think the odds are a good reflection of the fighters.

I was thinking about it because it would pay pretty decent. was thinkin about throwing a 100 dollars on him but I dont think he is gunna win. I think he has the skills too but his old wars will catch up with him late in the fight. I think Lopez will win by a late TKO.

According to JuanMa, the reason he struggled against Mtagwa was due to difficulty making 122lbs. At the higher weight he won his last two fights, so he likely feels strong enough to be able to handle Rafa's attack and dish some of his own.

By the same token, Rafa has won his last two fights at featherweight as well.

The edge goes to JuanMa on youth and speed.

The edge on experience and endurance goes to Rafa.

I agree i am looking forward to it, Marquez just better hope doesn't get cuaght before he figures the right hand out.

I really think that's what it comes down to honestly. Which is why I think Marquez needs to ease into this. Let Lopez put the first round or so in the bank. Figure out his timing, then defuse that bomb. Not to be negative but although fast and powerful, I find that Juanma loads that right hand up and is generally flat footed when throwing. I really think Marquez can do it. However if he Lopez lands 2 or 3 bombs, it's a wrap.
