    If Clottey didn't cover up?

If Clottey didn't cover up too much and traded punch like the Cotto fight,
Would Pacquiao be able to knock him out?

Clottey open up and was active at the later rounds versus PAC, I think it was his plan to tire pac and make a later rounds rally and turn the fight, he did have slight success, but in doing so he was taking a lot of hits and was forced to cover up again...

IMHO yes, if Clottey fought the whole fight like rounds 9 or 10...

Clottey is a victim of Roach's mind games, he just wanted to prove Roach wrong about him getting knocked out.

So If he fought Pacquiao toe-to-toe, He would have been KO'ed.

Had Clottey opened up more he'd have got hit alot more, took alot of punishment imo. Clottey was scared to open up to much, hense why he stayed in his shell!

He would have been KOed. After that right hook towards the end of round 1, Clottey realized what he had infront of him. Someone who can punch and ontop of that someone who was too fast infront of him. I think after that right hook he just hid in his shell. He really aint want no sauce.

                  Good, unbiased assessment.

"Shell" fighters will always lose to "swarmers".
Shell fighting is good against power punchers. It frustrates them. But a swarmer doesn't care. He just keeps on punching on and on.
