was just watching tidbits of it. i'll admit floyd was winning, but man after watching it made me realize that chavez, castillo both have that JCC sr. "mexican" fight style. both were consistent in keeping floyd on the ropes trying to keep pressure on him. sorta like what hatton was trying to do cept his jaw was made out of glass. sure floyd landed more and higher % of punches than both of them, but they kept coming forward. idk its weird...i think pac has the right set of abilities to beat floyd, i just dont think stylistically it would be in favor for pac.

I remember HBO having Chavez winning that fight too before his corner threw in the towel

Im no coach just thinking a good gameplan would be keeping pressure like Hatton's and throw bombs like mosley did in the 2nd round....and pray that floyd wouldn't adapt fast to it...

Lol.. if you watch the fight the HBO commentary was all over Chavez's nuts while not acknowledging the beating he was taking. Mayweather's game plan was to let him punch himself out which happened in the later rounds when Mayweather went on the offensive. Chavez did a good job though.

Would this still be possible for Roach to review this, To breakdown the gameplan needed to destroy him? Floyd has been using the same style IMO

Yeah but he's a much better fighter now, bigger and stronger. I'm sure Roach has watched all of his fights, he won't fight Pac like he fought Chavez because he needs to be more active to beat Pac.

This is the type of **** I don't get. If a person is trying to walk a fighter down and taking a beating in the process they not doing a good job at they strategy. So what is a person actually giving them credit for doing? In boxing you get points for EFFECTIVE AGGRESSION if you walking through punches and landing very little you are LOSING!!!! Especially if the whole fight is playing like that. I like the Chavez fight but he was taking a clear beating.

It would not be wise for a person to think they just gonna walk PBF down like that at 147 like Castillo did at 135.

floyd doesnt look his best against pressure fighters true..but eventually he breaks them down..thats why floyds alot stronger and tougher than he gets credit for..differnace with manny and chavez and castillo is they were bigger than floyd..mannys smaller just like hatton was..thats why floyd man handled hatton
