I don't think a decision over a guy who most recently got KO'd in 90 seconds helps re-establish Wlad as a monster, especially when the Wlad of old only went the distance twice. It reaffirms that he's not in the top tier. Wlad needs a KO.
Who wins on Oct 2: W Klitschko or D Williamson ?

he will have to put a series of wins to reestablish himself; one win won't do it.Comment

You're probably right, but in the age of 4+ champions and lots of name guys not holding belts, an easy KO win sets up AT LEAST another Showtime main event and maybe a spot on a PPV card. A loss probably means his next one isn't televised in the States.
Kali Meehan, who had done nothing of note prior to Sept. 4, officially lost to Lamon Brewster and was rewarded with a PPV spot in Nov. Wlad could do the same.Comment

I think it was a masters in business administration.Originally posted by NautilusI have read a nice article about Williamson at www.klitschko.com. I'd post it here, but it is in Russian. In a nutshell, Williamson has had a good amateur career before turning professional; he is smart, with a PhD (?) in business administration; and he’s got a nice family. He has every good motivation to do well in this fight.
Williamson will offer a serious competition.Comment

Well you are both right . . . that's why on this one I want to see him make a late round K.O. Hopefully a round 8 or 9 K.O. He needs to re-establish his name, his ego and his reputation slowly but surely. Making an early K.O. on this fight won't do him good.Comment

It could also be that their web-editors are not U.S.-based, so they don't have a clue about translating U.S. degrees to equivalent Russian/German degrees.Comment
