"too good" Mosley was too much of a "risk" for Pac from 141-147.....

The best fight the best. Why do we hold lower standards for Pac?

That would be a great year! Personally I would rather see Mayweather face a real "bigger" threat in Martinez (assuming he beats PWILL). Not too long ago people wanted Floyd to fight "bigger" fighters. Now they are flip flopping as Pac's the next best thing (for now) to "beat" Floyd. Only until after the fact, the excuses of Pac being "too small" and that Floyd "Cherry picked" another smaller fighter will be played out. As the Floyd's ducking Pwill and Martinez threads will start and Pac wont even be mentioned next to Floyd's again... Happens every time as no matter what Floyd does its never good enough (to most because they hate his attitude lol).

But if we must see Pac fight Floyd thats cool. I still would love to see Floyd vs someone like Martinez at 147-154. I think the ONLY person to beat him is Sergio with PWILL having a better chance than Pac will at beating Floyd.

          I agree.
Before he fought oscar, ppl were saying oscar will beat him at 154lbs, then after floyd won, ppl critisized him fro taking the fight, even though it was a legit 154lbs title fight.
Baldomir was Number 1 in 147lbs division when floyd fought him, gto no credit.
Also, before the mosley fight, people were saying that mosley is gunna KO him n all that ****, but after floyd dominated him no credit again. He cant win either way

Same with Judah, people said he was scared of a fast and slick southpaw in Judah and that Floyd ducked him for Baldo.... Hell even Hatton, most if not ALL Europeans bet that the "UNDEFEATED" HIT MAN would destroy Mayweather. Didn't they bet there houses or something? Didn't Hatton say he cried for weeks? Didn't he fire his entire team after that loss (1ST LOSS)? Wasn't he depressed or something? I wonder what mental state he was in when Pac got the sloppy seconds? Could he have been on coke after his 1st and ONLY loss????? As people like to suspect that Margarito used plaster before he was busted, one can easily assume Pac fought a washed up coke head who mentally lost it by firing everyone and joining the Mayweather's.

JMM, I can easily agree with most that it was lame, although one well known expert thought that JMM would be Floyd's toughest fight to date and favored him.

The problem is people just want to see Floyd lose because of his out of the ring attitude that they dilute the truth as to what he has done in the ring. They judge on what goes on outside.

People need to remember that when Floyd entered the WW division in 06 he beat 2 out of the TOP 3 WW's right off the bat. He then moved up to 154 (not a catchweight title fight like Pac) and arguably "beat" Oscar who most said would be "too big" or "too good" etc etc... post fight, oscars old, washed up, dead, sick, a bum, never should have boxed, never should have been born etc etc etc. Of course thats all true until Pac fights him. Then he's prime Oscar as if its 1998 and coming off the Julio Cesar Chavez victory. When's the last time Pac fought the TOP 2 out of 3 guys in one division?

Everyone yells that the best should be fighting the best when Mayweather's name is mentioned. I guess people just have lower standards for Pac.....

he's gonna be weight drained. he hasn't made 168 lbs in years. being weightdrained, his output will drop (which he needs to beat Green) and his punch resistance will drop.

I will be surprised if Johnson wins.
