I keep reading this , Juanma went life and death with a bum , he got exposed by a bum.
And I saw the fight , I know it was a surprise to see what happened in the last 3 rounds. But common ppl , did he really go life and death.
First of all , and I dont like making excuses , but if I remember correctly , Mtagwa hit Lopez after the bell , at least 3 times. One of those either in the 10 or 11 (Ill have to watch it again to be more specific).
And not only do those shots hurt , but they affect in a major way , just when your getting ready for that one minute of trying to gain your legs back , trying to get some air , trying to shake whatever buzz your on , you get hit with a bomb.
But anyways , Lopez wins wide UD. If Mtagwa won 3 rounds , it was those last 3 rounds.
Everything else was a clear domination.
Vasquez and Marquez went life and death , multiple times.
Gatti and Ward went life and death
Cotto and margarito went life and death.
Lopez had his worst/hardest 3 rounds in his career. It was not life and death.
