Only in exceptional circumstances. And in the entire history of The Ring belt, they have only ever recognised two fights as exceptional circumstances. Wlad-Chagaev was recognised because the two bros could never fight each other. Dawson-Pascal was recognised because Dawson had already beaten Johnson twice. There's no equivalent reason in this case. There is no reason why the Bradley-Alexander winner can't fight the Khan-Maidana winner, therefore no reason why that shouldn't be for The Ring belt, and therefore no reason why the #1 vs. the #3 now should be considered an exceptional circumstance.

it is a shame, if Bradley could have put his hands on the IBF belt, he would have had all the belts (although not simulteanously) minus the WBA one

Alexander was stripped over an arcane rule because unification with Bradley that was approved wasn't signed before an arbitrary deadline.

It's not easy explaining a sanctioning body's idiocy in 140 characters!
WTF kind of crap is that? Whatever.

good, maybe fighters will soon realize what a bunch of money sucking, pocket digging thieves these organizations/sanctioning bodies are...... they're a joke and a fleece at that............

why pay them to fight and all you get is a trinket if you win, when all that matters is you beat the guy, add to your resume, get paid, and have opportunities to do it again...........

hell, fight guys with belts, don't pay the fee, but when you beat the champ, he loses his belt, and the sanctioning body has no champ. then the fighter will realize how much crap it was to pay to lose his belt, and then wont do it again, unless a ******, and maybe this might catch on, and if these organizations don't have any champs they lose money, credibility, and most important, go extinct...........hopefully.....

just think of all the guys who move up in ranking because of greasy back room deal with these organizations, while guys who have earned their shot get shifted around like it's no big deal....... let them starve, it'll make them hungrier and give more of themselves......... scumbags.
