Solis vs. Austin as a heavyweight eliminator is a complete joke. Didn't Austin just get trashed by Wlad Klit recently. The only thing Austin hit was his chin on Klits fist three times for knockdowns. Hopefully they both draw or the winner gets injured in the fight so Klit can fight Adamek instead. I don't think Adamek has a chance but he's better than both of these tomato cans....

It was kind of a long time ago and he hasn't lost to anyone but Wlad in 10 years. Forget about it being a title eliminator, its just a somewhat interesting fight from my view and I can't see why a grossly overweight Solis is so heavily favored.

I just think the way Wlad trashed him in 2 rounds and then beating Williamson, Long, Golota and Jenkins doesn't qualify you for the chance at another big payday. I too don't understand Solis being heavily favored while carrying that oversize load of his. I guess because David Haye refuses to fight either Klit, this is what we get instead. I like the Klits but am bored, but it's not their fault nobody can compete. I thought David Haye could've been the next Holyfield to bring some fire into the division, now I know I was wrong about that!

It's simple, everyone who the Klitschkos haven't beat, or isn't signed to fight them, gets overrated, see Haye for example.

Solis gets past Austin easy, and gives Vitali a tough fight. I won't call who would win until I see the Solis/Austin fight.

If you ask me, people don't give Solis enough credit. He moves a 1000x better than Arreola. Much smarter in the way he positions himself. He won't blindly follow Vitali around the ring the same way Chris did. He also has a deadly left hook which is the only punch I ever see either Klitschko open to.

Vitali, as much as I like him, is slowing down. Solis will give him a hell of a fight. I favour him in this fight. Against Wlad I would say no, but Vitali, I would say yes.

The weight is a good thing. If you look at Solis' early HW fights, he was unable to walk fighters down. He even told interviewers he would gain weight on purpose to suit his style. He's always delivered ever since. Fighters are either KO'd or run scared from the ring (Drummond).

People are having trouble swallowing this, but this wave of Cuban fighters are for real.
