Boxing insiders knew since the first negotiations that Gayweather is afraid to face Pacquiao inside the ring.

Gayweather will be remembered more by ducking Pacquiao than his beloved "0."

don't be foolish and think that mayweather could make an "easy" 40 million fighting anyone other than who the people have chosen as the opposite to his "money" persona. there were very few options for pacquiao aside from margarito and there are NONE for mayweather aside from pacquiao.

floyd can't fight a loser at this point in his career. he would be crucified. when he came back saying he had come back to wrap up his legacy with this list he had made for golden boy...well, victor ortiz lost, he beat jmm, he beat mosley, cotto lost and pacquiao may very well be next. i don't believe margarito was on that list so who else does he have left? paul williams? andre berto? sergio martinez wasn't in his current position when he came back.

any other fighter would be boxing after dark material for him. they would net him about 10 million off top with more off endorsements.
He made over 30M fighting JMM and made over 45M fighting Mosley. One guy can sell 100K PPV's and the other guy should be fighting on HBO.

Floyd can fight Khan for an easy 40M in the UK and fight Canelo next year if he wants for an easy 30M.

Who can Manny fight that is going to make him this much money? NOBODY! Floyd makes twice as much money as Manny does per fight.

You don't think Floyd and Khan can sell out in the UK or middle east and sell over 1M PPV's in the UK and US? They should be able to sell 1M in the US and 1M in the UK. People in the UK love Floyd.

Floyd will get paid well no matter who he fights so he does have options, but there is only one guy people really want to see him fight.

All the people saying Floyd is affraid, just like the people taht said he was affraid of Hatton, or Judah, or Mosley. How did the supposed fear help them out against Floyd~ doubt it goes much differently for Manny.

Id listen to jones' opinion over damn near any expert out there today.
That is Jones putting what he thinks on Floyd, Jones and Floyd are really not that much alike.

I will say it again if Floyd was as soft as people make him out to be he would never be where he is currently, I don't even see how he would get close being mentally weak like that.

In everyday life/ interviews Floyd shows his failings, but inside that ring he is a whole different animal.

Even a 5 years old kid can see that floyd is scared with pac. I'm beginning to think that the main reason floyd hit his baby mama is because she told floyd that he is scared to fight pac.

I already knew this about you but you are really showing your true floyd fan boy status in this thread.

You are suffering from full blown Floids Virus now gambler.

Now you are grasping at straws by trying to make some british bscene minor opinion & trying to turn it into a international majority opinion that floyd was afraid of hatton & judah. Ill give you mosley, but that was more due to floyd haters just trying to find something to hate on floyd.

Nobody serious thought floyd was scared out of all people ricky hatton & zab judah. What you are trying to get some sympathy for floyd? Playing the victim now? LMFAO....

As for pac, well that much is obvious. Why would floyd all of a sudden ask for a steroid test never done before in the history of professional prize fighting against a fighter with zero steroid evidence when it came down to signing the dotted line vs pac?

In all seriousness, Floyd aint afraid of pacquiao. He's afraid of losing one of the biggest boxing matches in history to pacquiao. That much is very obvious. We didnt need evander holyfield, marvin hagler, roy jones jr. & a host of other boxers & boxing historians & analysts that have said so themselves.

                      Its quite evident really.
