HBO and Showtime should combine and make a Boxing Channel.

I think promoters should be the ones to take the lead on such the thing, or if not a TV channel a web site that plays live fights.

If it was a TV channel I think the promoters should work with an established network to build their base but I don't really think it needs to be HBO or Showtime (although CBS makes some sence since they don't have that much cable sports).

I would love a boxing channel but I'd never imagine it being created by Showtime and/or HBO. I'd just like a channel that had a nightly news show, and then rebroadcasted live fights from Canada, UK, Eastern Europe, Africa, Japan, Thailand, etc. and then air replays of the fights that were on Telefutura, ESPN2, etc.

It doesn't seem like it would need a big budget, but it does seem like it would have a very limited audience. Heck, if there was a channel like this that was simply an extremely high quality internet stream I'd pay $10/month for it...

And hire our very own Gorilla Dogs to be host.
