Comments Thread For: Huck-Lebedev Clash Finalized For December 18 in Berlin

Marco Huck (30-1, 23 KOs) will make a fifth defence of his WBO Cruiserweight Title on December 18 when he faces mandatory challenger Denis Lebedev (21-0, 16 KOs) in Berlin. The fight will take place at the Max-Schmeling-Halle. “I look forward to fighting in Berlin again,” Huck said. “Lebedev is a tough challenger with a great record. We are both very powerful and have tremendous KO power so the fans can expect a big battle. I will of course defend my title and leave the ring as the winner.”

          Richards, Minto, Godfrey.

The German audience has some sick obsession with seeing their overhyped fighters beat up on Americans, no matter how poor they are.

I mean are they still sore over Louis-Schmelling II?

          Still?

Lets not forget Godfrey was Ring #10 cruiserweight when he fought Huck.

He'd never been destroyed like that before.

Let's not forget that boxing is a dead sport that has no depth in 95% of its divisions, let alone the ****ing cruiserweight division.

If you believe it's a "dead sport", why do you follow it so closely and post on here so much?

It's far from being a dead sport, what's changed is it's become more global rather than being mainly an American sport.

Manny Pacquiao is the most popular athlete in the Philippines, Wladimir Klitschko sells out football stadiums in Germany, everybody in Puerto Rico knows who Miguel Cotto is - boxing is alive and well!

Name one non-boxing athlete from the Phillipines. Quick don't use google.
