Floyd has seeked his whole career for respect. its not hard to figure just watch some interviews.

I wasn't big into boxing back when this interview was done. Why did those guys he mentioned didn't want to fight him ? Was he not a big draw for them or ?

They were high risk, low pay off fighters. I didn't blame Floyd for that, because this is a business. I do look down on him for avoiding High risk even Higher Payoff fighters though. And for calling himself the best without fighting the best- after De La Hoya.

His resume is nowhere near Hagler, Leonard, Robinson, Ali etc. These guys weren't afraid of anybody and fought everybody- their entire careers(not just half). Mayweather has no business claiming he's above all of them.

I enjoyed his style more prior De La Hoya. He's still good though. I want to see him fight Manny Pacquiao.
