hi ive posted this on a boxing forum and a forum about eye sight but nobody seems to have the exact same problem as me. if anybody can give me some advice it would be much appreciated
i caught my eye sparring maybe 6 months ago i think it was the kids phumb that hit my eye, i carried on sparring but couldnt see out of my eye for about a minute, i didnt think of it too be nothing serious..
then about a week or so later i started getting flashes in the outer corner of my left eye, it was happening quite often mostly when i get tired or when i look from a light place to a dark place i get the flash, i get a very slight ache aswell but nothing painful.
so firstly i went to the eye infermary the doctor checked me out put the drops in and looked at the back of my eye... he said he cant see any problems.
so i took a few weeks out from sparring until the flashing eased off it was still there slightly when i started sparring again and it has been ever since.. although not as bad as it origanally was..
i decided to get a second opinion and went to a opticians and paid for another test.. the doctor said my retina was very slightly swollen he said its not damaged at all so shouldnt be nothing to worry about.. he told me to take a month off sparring which i have. i am still getting the flashing very slightly so the reason for the thread is, has anybody experienced this problem as its worrying me if i should be sparring and i dont want to further damage my eye
