from my experience, yes

i never saw whats wrong with people cheering for the guy from their ethnicity though, some people seem to believe its wrong for some abstract reason they cant put into words

Floyd is well liked by the people that KNOW him thats a given , you kids are hype driven , you believe whatever they spoon feed you lke its an election campaign , as you get old that will change and you see through the plastic surrounding the media and how it projects whatever it wants you to swallow , Floyd has a villian public persona and on a personal level Ive never heard a bad thing about him from people that have met him in person on a personal level .

YES. THEY LOVE HIM. Don't take my word for it. Look at the PPV numbers, and listen when Greenberg talks. In his words Floyd has "lit up the urban market."

Translation: When they track the satellite and terrestrial buys alot of Floyd's numbers come from black neighbourhoods where HBO wasn't seeing as much sales previously.
