Mikkel Kessler - No improvement in sight.

WBC SMW champion emeritus Mikkel Kessler today made the news broadcast on danish TV2. Kessler yesterday visited a german eye specialist since it's now two months since his eye-condition was diagnosed.

The doctor said that 2 months rest hasn't improved Kessler's vision.

"I had hoped some improvement would have taken place, but I feel the same. So I'm quite sad. But I'm happy it hasnt worsened", Kessler said.

According to the german specialist the prospects for Kessler remains the same. Kessler hopes to come back in 9 months, but the doctor makes no promises.

"He says I have gotten used to the deficiencies in my vision, but there's no improvement in my condition. You get used to it. I'll have to wait relax and run instead", Kessler said.

I kinda doubt it. I also thought his speech was slightly slurred so maybe it's a good time for him to hang 'em up.

          It's true, I haven't gotten better.

You can take my Viking word.

When I come back, I'll go after Bute. That ***** ducked me during a press conference where I was not.

Much as I'd like to see him back in the ring, hanging them up is likely what's best for him.

Sad news. He should think about hanging them up.
