    Hopkins DLH

Ok first sorry if this thread has been done but...

Ive been gone a month but a lot has happened in the boxing world. The biggest of which Bernard losing his crown of both the middle weight titles and lb for lb rankings (not that I thought he was the lb/lb king to begin with). Now I dont really want to rake through the pages to find out if this has been done but Id like to make a comparison.

First off I need to admit I havent seen the fight. I just want to know what the peoples reaction on the fight was. And for someone to explain the difference in Hopkins run for the first half of the fight strategy and DLH's run for the last half of the fight strategy. I really dont think that theres that big of a difference. The only thing is people say that DLH ruined the biggest fights while Hopkins used 'strategy'...

He wound up only throwing like 13 punches a round for the first half of the fight..But then again, He was making Taylor miss like a fool. I personally scored it 115-113 for Hopkins..Harold Lederman says to score on "Affective Agressiveness" and he thought he was during the fight...Yeah, Taylor was the agressor, but in NO WAY was he affective at it..Blocked and missed punches occasionally getting in a jab or body shot. Hopkins really picked up the pace in the last 3 or 4 rounds and had Taylor hurt bad in 2 of those rounds..10 and 11..He also owned round 12 and chased taylor back with a huge right hand..Taylor landed 4 punches that round and was never the agressor, and when he did land it was a pitter pat flurry..Hopkins landed 17 and most were power shots.. Duane Ford scord the last round for Taylor, which is obsurd. That should have been investigated.. Anyways it was still pretty close so Taylor won the Undisputed Championship. There was a rematch clause and it is scheduled for December 3rd on HBO PPV..
