i'm thinking pac will fight the perfect fight for marg. i don't think it will be too competitive.
Where will Pacquiao/Margarito land in terms of competitiveness?

Fairly competive early but as the fight wears on I believe that Manny will take more and more control.Comment

I still think Margarito's chin holds up to Pacquiao's punches. If he can weather the first 6-8 rounds and conserves his stamina, it could get interesting.
If there's a stoppage by either fighter, it's most likely to be late in the fight.Comment

This should be an interesting fight, could be hype, but i think this is an easy fight for pac, could be dangerous.Comment

What the hell has Oscar got to do with Bob Arum's fighters? Those fighters you mentioned are not handled by Oscar. Flawed logic.Last edited by serv; 11-04-2010, 05:31 AM.Comment

This is kind of a weird fight. I'm pretty sure Pacquiao can hurt Margarito. Honestly, I haven't thought seriously about the outcome of this fight too much, but I can see Pac just way too fast, skilful, accurate, just too much of everything.
I think it will trouble Margarito being at 150 as well. He will be way bigger but too slow to land on Manny early and if Manny can hurt him with a few punches, it is over then. But if his chin holds up and is able to catch Pac and maul him....Hatton had brief success with that, and Margarito is physically much bigger and stronger. Maybe he could trouble Manny with that. But Hatton had way faster feet, I don't know if Margarito could catch Manny.
I probably see a TKO for Manny. Not really sure though. Boxing is such a weird sport, you never know what will happen.Comment

I expect it to be much like the Cotto fight, where Margarito will come out psyched, ready to go, looking great for a few rounds, but Manny will simply be better and by the end of the fight will be putting a bad beating on Margarito.
I'll say Margarito is competitive for a couple rounds longer, but by round 6 or 7 Pac will take over for good.Comment
