Marquez probably wants a catch-weight because he can't be effective above 135, and manny likes being above 145.

So it's just a lot of complications when manny could be doing bigger and better things, and do it comfortably instead of going down in weight when he's on such a roll.

We all know what happened to Roy Jones.
Come on man, how do you know JMM can't be effective above 135lbs., because of his fight with Floyd? I think Floyd would make Pac look bad to!

Because, more of JMM legs at 135.

Pacman has moved on to bigger things, and JMM had moved on to smaller. Learn to live with it.

Floyd defeated your boy and Floyd is chicken scared of Pacman. That`s called facts of life.
Bigger and better things like fighting Margarito Yo boy wants no part of JMM PERIOD!

Gloves - Cleto Reyes 8 oz
          Ring - 18x18
          Weight - it'll be 145lbs
          Pacquiao enters the ring 2nd.
It'll be in Vegas, under NSAC testing rules.
Cut - 60/40 at absolute best (Manny 60). even a 70/30 cut would be more than JMM has ever made.

JMM has no chance. Everyone saw how he looked at 144lbs. and everyone saw how Manny looked at 145 vs. Cotto.

Come on now. this isn't 2004....JMM is simply out of his league at WW. Manny wins via TKO inside 5.

I think Floyd would make Pac look bad, and Cotto (as brave as he is) is a slow footed easy to hit fighter made to make Pac look good.

I find it hilarious that you came to that conclusion after Top Rank went to GBP for a fight and it was JMM who out priced himself out which you agreed.

Yea you have no agenda here.

Ok then why no immediate rematch in 08, what's your excuse for that?

Better yet why no immediate rematch after the first fight?

Oh, I guess that is Pac fault too.

                You not unbiased at all.

The fight in 08 should have been the third fight.

The 2nd fight should have been done years ago.

                    Right or wrong?

You you not a hater at all.

Oh there had been a hundred threads about this, why not do search?

If aside from larry, you just came from another planet, MP was about to fight Diaz because he could no longer fight at super featherweight. Then from out of the blue, JMM challenged Pac and the latter gave him that chance but JMM blew it by unconvincing fashion, even with Pacman fighting him pale and weight drained.

So there could not be an immediate rematch because Pac-Diaz was already contracted, and was only temporarily postponed, and Pacquiao was legally liable if he did not fight Diaz.

After this, there was the Pac-dela Hoya, Pac-Hatton, Pac-Cotto, etc...

So would you even compare, by any hint of intelligence and recollection, that these next mega-fights were less than Pac-JMM3? No, Pacquiao has moved on. But if JMM hadn`t fought Floyd, this trilogy could have happened.

Do you think MP had any regrets?

I think you missed a lot in your alien planet just like larry.
