Wouldn't the analogy be slightly stronger if Tyson had actually refused to fight Holyfield? How can you compare the two situations when Tyson fought him twice with no testing? If Tyson has suggested testing and the first fight then fell through, and then Holyfield agreed to Tyson's terms and Tyson still wouldn't fight him, then yes, Tyson would have been ducking Holyfield. But of course, that's not close to what happened.

Yes, Tyson was ducking Holyfield. The stage was set for Tyson-Holyfield some time in the late 80's Instead of taking the fight, Tyson ****d a young girl and went to jail just to avoid that fight. Mayweather is similar in that he beat his wife and kids so he could go to jail and use that as an excuse to avoid tough fights.
