Unless Showtime can force Andre Ward to go to Montreal Bute is never gonna fight him.

Bute isn't going to Showtime because he wants the biggest fights, he's going there because HBO isn't gonna pay him to fight bums and Showtime will.

At the end of this Herchmann will look ****** again. Bute will take 3 fights that fans aren't interested in and Ward nor Bute will want to give up home field advantage.

One or the other will just move up in weight and move on to bigger and better things.

Really there is/was nobody for Bute to fight on HBO. Besides Pavlik(which really I don't care for) and Dawson(And, maybe now after the lost he is not interested anymore).

If he agrees to fight them it should be signed on a fight by fight basis, I just don't see the advantage for Showtime signing him to a 3 fight deal If he wants to fight bums put it on ESPN3.com on Canadian TV, not on Showtime. Showtime can give us some great lower weight class fights for much cheaper than Bute bumfights.
