First choice has always been Floyd...

But just to top that, it would be Williams...

But if his retiring after this last fight, it would be with Berto, it's for a unification bout and it's highly winnable...

Legit 154lbs fighters would give Pacquiao some serious trouble. At 147lbs Floyd is the guy. If he moves down to 140lbs, he has some options.

There's still too much money to be made for Pac, Arum, and Roach. Manny won't "retire" anytime soon.

His next fight will be with in house JCC Jr.

The fight with Floyd won't take place till the end of 2011.

Moseley. I think he could cause Manny some real problems and would be a great yard stick to measure the chances if he ever fights Floyd.

Manny, Roach, and Arum (and Buboy ) have all said Manny's fighting 2-3 more times before he retires. Arum has even gone so far as to set May as his next fight and rattled off some possible names- Mosley, Marquez, Bradley/Alexander winner, and has discussed Paul Williams.

I feel like Pac would need an even bigger challenge than Margarito, and also a fight that would do big business. $ wise, Marquez is probably the best option because of the history there, but that fight is meaningless at this point since JuanMa would have to move back up to WW and that puts him at a terrible disadvantage, especially at 38 years old. The best option:

if the mayweather fight doesnt pull through, i would like him to face mosley next at 147.

i still think mosley is a formiddable opponent, that sergio mora didnt ocme to fight him and made shane look worse than he really is.

although i still think manny would win, i see that fight producing some memorable exchanges early on.

it would also be good to see that fight as a comparison of who beat mosley better, pac or mayweather

He is weighing 146 lbs right now about 12 days prior to his fight. 154 is a stretch. Even at 147 is already a stretch for him.

I would like to see JMM at 140. JMM wants it. He can't ask for as much as he did in the beginning of the year though.

                      "Who's Next for Manny?"

After Pac's fight with Margs, the focus would shift on Floyd. The focus will be intense. It will be laser-like. What's next for Floyd should be the right question.

Pac would not be expected to fight for a year at a minimum for obvious reasons. I don't think the focus on Floyd would shift somewhere else. He HAS to make a choice and announce it swiftly. Otherwise, he would be hounded like a dog.
