Roy Jones tested positive for ephedrine alkaloids, after using Twin Labs ripped fuel. He also tested positive for androstendione which at the time was not classified as a steroid or controlled substance, as it is naturally occuring and found in nature, as a supplement it was compliant under FDA rules during that period. It was also first discovered by Patrick Arnold. Many supplements at the time, purchased through GNC were metabolites or precursors to the real stuff, however, they were not illegal for purchase. Point is...let this fight go. Soldier Boy has more important things to do...like twittering and making rap albums.
No, it was an anabolic steroid. LOL @ precursor hormone.

I think like usual you have no idea what you're talking about regarding specific topics, so you speak in generalities knowing that morons might think you know what you're referring to. You know the differences between PH's and controlled substances classified as anabolic steroids? One is illegal and the other at the time was not. Like most topics that require intelligence, you're out of your depth. I'm sure your response will be something "sarcastic", as that's really all you ever lend to most threads.

First of all, please show where Roy Jones tested positive for nandrolene and please explain what "precursor hormone" caused this positive test. See if you can do that. I'll be here. All day.

Androstendione metabolizes into nandrolone which raises testosterone past natural levels. At the time it was sold in nutritional stores all across the country. He didn't take something that was considered by law to be illegal. As an example NCAA rules prohibit the use of the supplement " Jack3d" because it contains 1,3 Dimethylamylamine, which is not classified as a banned substance, however, prohibited by certain regulatory bodies.
