Comments Thread For: HBO Pres Unsure Why Mayweather Turned Pacquiao Down

In late July, following the second round of failed negotiations for a Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao clash, HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg acknowledged that he acted as a mediator between Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum, Top Rank Promotions' CEO, and Mayweather's manager, Al Haymon, even as Golden Boy Promotions' president, Oscar De La Hoya, and Mayweather's adviser, Leonard Ellerbe, had denied that negotiations took place.

This fight should had happened this year, the time is now and the future is not guaranteed. As we have seen now Floyd has major legal issues himself and Pac has another fight which there is a posibility that he can lose or get injured.

At this point who gives a isssh. Mayweather will probably come up another excuse, where he's producing Ron Artest's next rap album.

*****s are too stubborn to accept the truth. WifeBeater Jr will yet again come up with another excuse to duck Manny for the third.

Well the answer is obvious to the boxing fan, He didn't want to get WHUPPED!

He knew he would get whupped. Pac agreed to the testing and he had no way out of the fight but to Duck and go eat Lobster with King , whinning "they trying to make me fight him".

Pac has the heart to fight anyone, shows calmness, then DOES !

Mayweather is helter skelter, can't get it together, has skills beyond measure but the big ONE thing missing is that GAME HEART !!

Skills wins but he has yet to fight any Elite in his prime, in the last 5 years.

He wants to keep his "0" intact. ITs his trademark for MONEY.

He will go down as one who squandered it ALL in the end.

Hey Mayweather, just fight Manny and get it over with.

Hey Mayweather, just leave off of beating on women and threatening children.

You hide behind the talk of cleaning up boxing , why don't you clean up yourself ??????
